A sexy, original romantic gay comedy from Argentina. Jero (Cristian Mariani) and Tom (Gastón Frías) seemed the perfect couple to their friends as well as to Jero. Both are handsome and successful, with businessman and crossfit jock Tom involved with cryptocurrencies while Jero is more sensitive and loves poetry. Their love affair abruptly ends on their first anniversary when Tom abandons Jero and leaves him with only breakup letter and an “anniversary gift,” a box of 299 letters written throughout their relationship as the only explanation. Completely blind-sided, Jero reads through them, and with each confession, reveals a version of Tom he never truly knew, turning their “love story” into something more complicated, shocking and disturbing. A darkly funny, unconventional breakup movie, 300 Letters plays like a romcom in reverse, exploring the messy process of rediscovering yourself after heartbreak.
